UK's £2,500 Uplift in Grants - A Power Boost in Air Source Heat Pumps

On October 23, 2023, the UK government confirmed the uplift of £2,500 in grants for air source heat pumps , a 50% increase from the original £5,000. The grant of £7,500 will lower the installation cost of an air source heat pump than a gas boiler, boosting the family`s confidence in using air source heat pumps.

Heat pumps could be vital to Britain`s ambitions to cut carbon emissions and reduce dependence on gas. The United Kingdom had the lowest rate of heat pump installation compared to other Europe countries. This stimulating grant will create more opportunities for heat pump penetration to gradually phase out gas boilers.

Unlocking next generation solution : NEW ENERGY R290 heat pumps

R290, also known as propane, is a natural refrigerant with impeccable environmental credentials. With an astonishingly low Global Warming Potential (GWP=3) and 0 Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), R290 is a resounding symbol of sustainability in the field of renewable heating solutions.

The integration of R290 into NEW ENERGY heat pump products seamlessly aligns with the UK's ambition to reduce carbon emissions and shift away from reliance on conventional gas-based heating systems. It represents a significant step towards a greener and more environmentally responsible future. In addition, NEW ENERGY heat pump technology creatively provides three functions in one: space heating, cooling and domestic hot water, combining high reliability and convenience.
